Dry-Rubbed Roasted Lamb Breast
Indulge in an absolutely mouthwatering lamb breast that's juicy, succulent, and incredibly flavorful!
Ingredients
- 1 lamb breast, whole
- 1 tsp salt
Dry Rub
- 2½ tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp ground fennel seed
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients of the dry rub in a bowl and mix well.
- Lay out the lamb breast on a flat working surface. Sprinkle salt and season the meat all over. Take 2 tablespoons of the dry rub and coat the meat well. Wrap with cling wrap and leave to rest for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 325°F (162°C). Add parchment paper to a baking sheet and place lamb to roast for 30 minutes, then flip the meat, and roast for another 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 250°F (120°C). Continue roasting for another 90 minutes until it's tender and fully cooked, basting with the roasting juices occasionally.
- Let the meat cool before cutting. Serve and enjoy!
